Why I Started Seek and Scout

Before our first child, my partner and I were seasoned travellers. We'd explored over 30 countries, sought out local restaurants instead of tourist traps, and loved the spontaneity of turning up somewhere new with just a backpack.

Then we became parents. Suddenly, "spontaneous" meant "stressful." Our first family holiday was a disaster of mismatched nap schedules, unsuitable rooms, and restaurants with no high chairs. I remember thinking: there has to be a better way.

So I became that better way. I trained as a licensed travel advisor, built relationships with family-friendly properties worldwide, and started planning holidays the way I wished someone had planned ours — with kids at the centre of every decision.

What Makes Me Different

I'm not a call centre. I'm not an algorithm. I'm a real person who answers on WhatsApp, who remembers your kids' names, and who knows which hotels genuinely cater to families versus those that just say they do.

Every recommendation I make is something I'd book for my own family. I visit properties, I test kid-friendliness firsthand, and I maintain personal relationships with the people on the ground.
